One Hour Practice
This practice is designed to leave you relaxed and energized. It is accessible to everyone who is in good general health and has some yoga experience. A chair, yoga blocks and a strap are used in this video.
Half Sun Salutation
Half sun salutation warms up the body, rotates the shoulders, moves the hips and stretches the legs.
Half Sun Salutation with Variations
I have added some variations to the traditional half sun salutation to open the chest with a backbend and a side bend. This variation also includes additional leg stretches. Enjoy!

No standing poses! This video is filled with stretches and strengthening exercises that will bring relief and support to your low back.
Give your feet some love! In this video you will learn how to activate your feet in yoga postures. We will practice 1/2 sun salutations, Runner lunge and runner stretch, W2, Triangle and "push wall" as a prep to Downward Facing Dog. We stretch in pinwheel and Z pose before a delightful rest!
Half Sun Salutation with Low lunge
Add on to your half sun salutation with some low lunges. The low lunge will stretch the hip flexor, strengthen the front leg and add a backbend to the half sun salutation. It provides a nice counter pose to the forward bends of the half sun salutation.

Please the Knees
Happy knees need work strengthening the calves, thigh muscles and hamstrings. The knees should bend straight forward and point over the second toe; they aren't designed to twist. In this video we will practice a therapeutic twist, a healthy posture, a balance sequence to strengthen the legs and a stretch series of pinwheel pose, Z pose and a seated twist ending with legs up the wall.
Bring Balance Into Your Practice
Balance requires integrating your entire body. To be firm and not rigid while moving with intentional breathing will offer support for better balance. Riding the imbalance with lots of tiny corrections constantly returning to balance.
